I've got a few more of these to get through - then it's back to the punk rock!

These are some fine sonic waves flowing through my eardrums right now. Another great Uke post, jackofall, and premium choice of song. The Peruvian flair is the icing on this cake. Can't wait for you next one.

Really well done.  Do you know El Condor Pasa?  I love that peruvian style.

My Uke is made by 'Ashbury' - about £65 from Hobgoblin. I had one for £30 before this one and boy was it shite! The ones with the tuning pegs never stay in tune, so I got a proper one with guitar-like machine heads. I heard some amazing ones for a few hundred but I haven't got that much income to throw around! What I really want next is a turkish Ud. The sound of that thing sends shivers down my spine.....

I might have a go at El Condor Pasa next. Great idea, thanks!

There's a dedicated uke shop near Spitalfields Market in London (can't recall the name, just know how to get to it). It's just off Brick Lane. Wall to wall ukes, including some custom designs. Including pink flying vee ones :D

I work 4 mins walk from Hobgoblin. It's a great shop. I eye up the resonators in the window pretty much on a weekly basis. It's far too dangerous to actually go in and play one though! :D

I think those are ukes are branded Oscar Schmidt here in the US. A buddy of mine just ordered one online, I am looking forward to giving it a try once he gets it in a couple of weeks.
