I was just gonna suggest this yesterday when I saw this. But as usual you've taken it to a hole other level. I really am amazed by the effort you put into making this the best size in the cyberworld !! Excellent 64G !! Thank you !

I was gonna suggest exactly what 64s said. But I might add that if you have a member that is not around or no longer active and you record and post a song, give them a heads up in a personal message as common courtesy. I am willing to bet that if you tell them, "i liked your song so much I did a cover of it and posted it up. I hope you like it. Let me know if you are uncomfortable and I'll take it down, but I appreciate your indulgence. Thanks for everything." that the likelihood of them wanting it down goes down to near zero. Of course, if someone is uncomfortable it's better to err on the side of caution.

I've re-added the okay to cover box. Can I get on the list please?

Can you contact former members, I don't think so not via Songcrafters - I also don't think it's right to cover their songs unless they previously had the OK to cover icon. If I'd left Songcrafters I wouldn't want people covering my songs.

re: Hilary
I completely understand what Hilary is saying but if you don't want someone covering your songs, in my opinion, you need to take down the "okay to cover" emblem in your signature. The only reason that was created was so we could be assured that we wouldn't be stepping on toes. That might be something to keep in mind if one ever decides to leave this warm and caring musical community.

Personally, I think someone covering one of my songs is a compliment of the highest order and will treat it as such. I would like to think that the same would be thought of by members who are no longer active. Treating it as you would any other song you find on the internet is not too out of line, in my opinion.
