Dog Tired (featuring Hook on vocals)

Well, what a great surprise.  I posted up a looper jam I did last night.  This morning Hook took the track and laid down some wonderful dog tired sounding vocals to finish this off into a proper song.  Thanks Hook, you really made my day with this surprise vocal.  Great job.  

As for the looper,  I got the RC-300 at Christmas but haven't had any time to play with it.  I set it up last night finally and had a go.  I think I am really going to love this pedal.  I laid down three variations on the chords into the three loops and then started recording and played along as I changed the loops.  I think it came out pretty good for my first looper attempt.  Interesting way to write a song, its like I was jamming along with myself.  And then Hook comes in and he sounds like he was right there with me as I played.  Its like the three of us were sitting on my back porch, red ales at our side, jamming out this song.  Me, myself and Hook.  Thanks man.

Now then, I have to get to that vocal that ORH sent me on my other acoustic song from a few weeks ago........

LOVE spontaneous collabs - they're just so special.  This one is excellent!  Really nice layering of the guitars, Dave, good percussion too.  Hook's lyrics and vox are amazing to lay over top of this.  I wouldn't have heard that part, bet you didn't either Dave.  Too cool!  Take a big bow, gentlemen!  DD

musicality.... spontaneity... soulfull result...

Obviously, I repeat what I said yesterday about the folk jazzy atmospheric wonderfull sounds of the guitar....
And I add this comment to this collab : the vocals perfectly fit to this tune.... it bring a more bluesy thing to it, and it's very well done, guys!!!
