I am in surfing in portugal right now and a friend of mine is a shaper and he needs music for his videos. Let me know if he can use yours. He will give you short credit in the end but nothing more. Check out his page:

I have told him to use whatever I have as well as Mattias' songs (sq51), but he can use more.

He's a good guy help him out if you can, and let yourselves be heard by a lot of suntanned surfers.

Maybe a surfmusic festival??

Cheers

Bump.  Nobody seems to have noticed this offer to have their music in a surf video.

Perhaps part of the problem is that people can only offer their original songs. Covers are not ours to give. But still, there are a lot of original songs posted here. I would have thought that someone would have replied to this by now.

I think I have one.
Its called "Crystal Bay".I recorded it last month.
Would you like me to post it up on this thread for every one to listen to
or I can send it to you direct if you like ?

Edit, I put it on 'Original songs' if youd like to check it out first.
Cheers ,  :)

Thanks,
That Crystal Baby was cool, I'll let him know.

One thing I should have written: it doesn't have to be "surf music". If you check out his page the music used now is often electronic, but they are open for a lot. It is mostly 1-2 min videos presenting a specific board model, for example:

Whenever there is a need for music I will tell him to check this thread for candidates.
Just reply and a say that you are positive to him using your original – he will then contact you if there is anything he want to use.

cheers,
Henrik

(I still have more guitars than surf boards, but right now I could very well make a switch.)
