Daddy Gooseberry -(the drummer)was a local hero -he came second in the world championship dancing spoons competition one time-
Greeny .............. (double bass player) was not the son of Daddy(above) but Daddy never knew it till the band broke up in 2012
Hairy ..................(rhythm guitar and mover and shaker)
Stalky.................(the other guitar and regards himself as THE guitarist)-also related to that famous guy from Ireland Stompy
(altho there is a big question mark in the Gooseberry family as to -how where and when???but as they are all too busy drinking poitin (moonshine) nobody cares -
What his name (lead guitar) another distant relation who came on a weeks visit from Ireland and forgot to go home---
anyway -this is a rare recording from way back ( Monday 23th April 2012)transferred from the original big reel tapes on a machine that had to be wheeled into the end of the ballroom by 2 men and a boy.
so no studio fancy stuff (like new fangled digital enhancement or studio overdubbing )has been used to enhance this recording
or drop in next week and add the vocals kinda stuff
this is the way rock and roll was in 2012.
