Well, actually... I reckon the leads could be a touch louder? (maybe, perhaps you tried it and the sounds didn't fit so well with the track then?)

Unless I want them smaller/bigger for some reason, I always try to mix a lead guitar solo into the same "space" that the vocal has just left - I kind of imagine that there's a spotlight for the soloist to stand in, when it's vocal time that's where the singer stands, when it's guitar solo time, that's where the guitarist stands. When I imagine it in those terms it seems to come out just about right, neither one too loud or too quiet.
