Great work by P777 - he did the drums, bass and vox. I did the guitars.
Talk about ambitious, this is a hard song to play. Put it this way, I learned how how to use the punch in function.
Its such a long song, that I had to rip at 96K to upload (is there and under 10minuteFest  ;D) - so its lost quite a bit of quality in the translation!

Anyway - this is the first draft mix. I'll probably let it sit for a couple of days and then re-mix. I'll upload onto Soundcloud tomorrow and link - it late, and I need sleep!

Here is the soundcloud version

Technical details
I did the guitar parts (two tracks - panned left and right) with the PRS CE24, using a modified 'heavy' COSM patch on the BR1600. Played against the original song as a guide track for timing. Sent to Frank, who did the drums, vox and bass. He sent me back the tracks - and it all amazingly sync'd.

This is awesome.  ;D  A cover of my favourite song by my favourite band  :). The guitar solos and the drum fills make this cover an outstanding one. Thank You

thanks for the listen's and comments. bruno and i put this together in only a few days. will be interesting to hear the final mix. i can recall playing this song in bands as far back as 1975. i think we pulled off a decent job all things considered. id it just me or does it sound like i sing with a euro-type unknown accent? i seem to pronounce words a bit differently when i sing.

bruno

Frank - that's coz you don't sing with a Brumie (Birmingham) accent :-)

You need to tell me how you got that Bass sound - its perfect!
:-)
