I love this tune too. And you've done a really good job of it. The violin and acoustic guitar sound great together. Is it a real violin?

64Guitars - yeah its a real violin, actually its Mazz's violin (not that she plays it much!) - although am tempted by ThumbJam :)

The simplicity of this is what makes it so special!!!  A real violin!  I love it!! My hats off to you!!

Really nice Bruno !! And you play the violin as well ! WOW ! I KNOW how hard that is, both my daughters took lessons and I tried to teach myself some while they did, and it is NOT easy. I've finally realised that I'll never be able to play it, but I sure wish I could !

I really envy you Bruno, I bought a violin about 3 months ago, I have had it out the case once, and my wife said it sounded like I was standing on a cat, I havent taken it out the case since, but this has given me some inspiration, well done great playing....Alex

Thanks for all the comments. This was a little bit of an experiment after doing Tiscit with Hook.
The violin was my first instrument - I started playing at 8, classically trained until I was 18, when I passed my grade 8 and stopped. During my teens I found the guitar much more interesting. I didn't really play for over 20 years - until I joined a local orchestra and played some symphonies (I sat at the back of the second violin's and winged it). The physical aspects of playing was fine, but reading music at speed was a bitch, and then some. However, my first love is still rock and roll, so the fiddle playing has taken a bit of a back seat again - these tracks were the first time out for at least six months!!
Geir - they recon that your really have to learn the violin before the age of 12 - else its very difficult. They do say its one of the harder instruments - intonation can be a problem (particularly with head phone on - you have to play one ear on and one off).

Anyway - any one want's any fiddle on their tracks - let me know ....
