I like the Nina Simone version of this, but this is a sort of cross between The Bee Gee's and UB 40.
It was done on my new toy ( Yamaha keyboard ) plus two guitar tracks.

You sing this so good my friend , good vocalists are far and few between , but you have that gift , a very individual voice , its a very good cover , but my main cans are broken , so i'm not sure if you have recorded this a little hot , I'm getting a little distortion on my stand by cans , but that said , its excellent

You have good ears, Rob. I didn't notice the distortion on first listen. But I loaded it into Audacity and it definitely shows a lot of clipping. On my second listen, the distortion was noticeable. Might be worth re-mastering at a slightly lower level, Snowpig.

Yeah, its sounding hot and low on my speakers too.

But the instrumentals sound great from what I can hear,
and the vocal are super!  Excellent vox.

I think this would be well worth a remix  if your up for it.

Didn't notice the distortion at first, but I think you're right.
If I get time I will try a remix.

To answer your question 64 Guitars, the keyboard is a Yamaha YPT 220. It's only a cheap model but has some useful features.

I'm still new at recording, so I appreciate your feedback.
