As Songcrafter member's live far & wide , i thought it might be interesting to compile a list of local brewed ales or Lager's , and what is your favourite tipple







This is my favourite drink at the moment



Youngs Bitter is quite popular in london

But I'm afraid this is the most popular with the young uns round our way ( they nickname it Wife Beater )

Both fairly local (Sebago's closer to home, but I work closer to Harpoon ).

On the wine side, I also enjoy one of the finest (reasonably-priced) reds from Sonoma Valley:

Quite like the old wife beater, but it gives me a mega hangover and anyway the wife can kill with just one of those looks.
Red wine was my poison of choice for a long time, but have now reverted to national sterotype, vodka and Irn Bru, diet of course for heath purposes, don,t you know

I have a brewery just down the street from where I live, 10 minutes walk, Moosehead.  Its considered Canada's oldest independent brewery.  So naturally I drink as much as their product as I can.  My favorite is called Clancy's Amber Ale.  I'm having one right now.............whoops, just finished.  Time for another.................................I love the dark and amber ales, thats my drink.http://moosehead.ca/product-line/

We put red bull in our Vodka down South SE , oh , forgot to mention my Red wine habit , running a bit low at the moment

Our local supermarket has a really nice St. Emillion at half price, it's still over a fiver a bottle at that, but I can make an exception for this.

And Talisker. I'm one bottle away from the Auchentoshen that my good friend ORH gave me.

i need to take you on that tour of the auchentoshan distillery when you get up here, it's a five minute walk from my house.

right now i am pretending to be sicilian so my local tipple is nero d'avola down to £5 a bottle in sainsburys.
