This is great - I've just recently discovered Paolo Conte myself (from Momus to Serge Gainsbourg, and then Paolo Conte).

Hadn't heard this one before, but I love his music and vocal delivery. Those woodwinds sound like early Roxy Music...

Well, when the weather gets warmer it's time to bring out the Rock Steady, Reggae and Ska...I got this one a couple years ago. It might just be my favorite Rock Steady or Reggae album of all time....yes in fact it is! I love Bob Marley, Culture and Burning Spear but man this album is solid. Every song is stellar. Tim sure knows how to lay down a sweet rhythm...with L.A. ska/soul band the Aggrolites backing him, this is a nice departure from his great work with Rancid.

What a great performance.  This has never been my favorite Marley song. (That would be Rat Race.) But this video bumps it up in my rankings near the top.

The late Joseph Hill and his band Culture's 1977 album "When Two Sevens Clash" was the record that turned all the punk bands in the UK onto reggae.
