I was just checking out some punk rock from the golden age...1977.

The Nipple Erectors (aka the Nips) Shane MacGowan's pre-Pogues band.

What a great song!

Well, because today is the anniversary of my fav guitar player`s death, Randy Rhoads. Ive been playing Blizzard of Oz, Diary of a Madman and Tribute. I refuse to listen to the remastered versions of those because Ozzy actually let Sharon drop the original bass and drums of Bob Daisley, and Lee Kerslake and remastered it with Rob Trujillo and whatever the new drummers name is. That frikkin pissed me off tremendously when i heard it. Bark At the Moon is even worse. Anyways, here`s an isolated guitar track from Crazy Train that just popped up on the net.

RIP Randy! That frickin sacrilegious that they did that with the remastered versions! I remember that, and now you've gone and pissed me off all over again!  heh   ;)

I came across this while ago, but I don't think I posted this here. It's an instrumental version of Mr. Crowley.

Yes - that lad shows a bit of promise, does he not?

And I love the Hayseed Dixie "tribute."

This chap shows a bit of promise too.  I was fortunate enough to see Andy Mckee live in a church hall in Coventry supporting Tommy Emanuel.  You really couldn't hope to see two more skilled guitarists on the same bill.

By the way - how do you chaps embed the actual youtube videos in your posts?  I'm sure instructions have been issued but I don't know where to look.
