further to my a to z psychedelia post it brought me back to me the best vocalist ever to walk this planet, i had the chance to say hi at glasgow central train station, but thought better not to pester him as he looked a bit down, a month later he was dead.

I found this intriguing and amusing and actually kind of funny...the reasons are first there are all these great musicians vying for a bit of time on the big stage.  The bass player seems like he's trying to get noticed... then what really cracks me up is the great George Harrison walks to the mic and starts singing...as the song goes along he constantly has to adjust the mic as it slowly turns away from him over and over (likely from the stage moving from all the musicians "rocking", and a sound tech who forgot to make sure the mic holder was tight.)....still George remains calm...
then there's Eric Clapton playing all the leads until towards the end when George and Eric start dueling...and they are kind of doing almost a sort of dance off as they both admire each others chops...I'd love to know what they are thinking just then...
I love this song, always have but I like to hear it slower...that was just so much energy up there with all those superstars..

I always love to hear the Outlaws...this song is superbly recorded and produced...not to mention played...absolute perfection...oh...those vocals...and of course i dig the guitars....

after listening to this I wonder...why do i bother recording anything at all...man o man that is so bloody great.
