Musica Nuda (= Naked Music) is an Italian duo: Petra Magoni (voice) and Ferruccio Spinetti (double bass). Naked Music because their artistic philosophy is to go to the essence of the music, getting rid of superstructures.
The strange fact is that they are much more popular in France than in Italy...

wow! a double bass with a wah wah!
Eleanor Rigby is impressive - I don't understand how she doesn't get out of tune - it is really difficult to sing only with a double bass - 3-4 octaves below.
Oh! And loved the mountains and the hikers with the dog ;-) There is a feeling of humorous nonsense with it.

DeificDave, I am spinning some prog as well this fine morning. I have a Spock's Beard mix on right now. They have proggier songs than the one below, but I always like how this one builds.
