The second video reminded me of some of the studio scenes when they were working on Ivan's record in 'The Harder They Come', one of my favorites. I like the vintage gear.

Someone has just given me a copy of Common Ground by Walter Trout, really nice stuff but I don't know much about him apart from he played with Canned Heat for a while. Does anybody have anymore info, would appreciate it.............Willie

I've got a few CDs of his and was fortunate enough to see him and his band play live a couple of years ago in a village hall near Market Harborough.  That's right - a village hall in the English East Midlands putting on a show by an American blues/rock guitarist and minor legend - and one I've always liked.  I saw a small advert in one of the local free papers ( you know - the ones that normally advertise this week's special offers at the camping shop and Lidl) and went along fully expecting it to be a bunch of local boys doing covers.  But no - it was the man himself - who proceeded to do a great show.  As village hall's go it was quite big and it was packed.  I haven't got the album you have but I'll check it out.
