I'm not happy with this (I never am). But after five flawed takes I got fed up with it so this will have to do.

I used my 1975 Gibson L6S Midnight Special on this one for a change. The percussion is a sample I recorded of myself slapping my leg. I then loaded the sample into the BR-864's drum machine and used it to repeat a simple 4-beat pattern.

Cool, I like the tone of that guitar. Is that one of the 864's built in effects or is it external?


That tone load? for the rhythm, I'm trying to get a handle on it reading in the BR-600 manual but it's a hard read. Can you just sample a sound to one of the tracks and then transfer it to a specific pad and then compose your own pattern or is it done externally first?
