I love my Italian heritage and particularly the food, with the exception of Polenta and Baccala (salted cod - which my mum and dad used to refer to a Merluso - or however that was spelt). Grim, I tell you However, my mum's lasagne is to die for, when she makes it for one of our 'gathering of the clan', there is always an unseemly rush to the table.
