The Bitter Suite
Music and Words by Tharek Mokbul

Bitter sweet.
Fallen Tall.
Both in Line.
Whilst we lay down under stars tonight.

Falling closer through the sky.
As Mountains rise and fall.
As the Ground Moves into night.
We roll on to the day.
And Move.

And hold on deep.
In Flight we will try again.

Our wings will stretch,
as far as we would like.
 Underneath the Stones,
Water  flows.....
As All eyes close.....

Bringing Life.
Bitter-sweet, fallen-tall, Both in line.

In a Sudden-Symphony.
In Beauty's calm embrace,
We find a world.

Bitter sweet.
Fallen Tall.
Both in Line.
Whilst we lay down under stars tonight.

Falling Closer through the sky.
As mountains rise.
As The Ground moves into night we roll on.
 In today.

Bitter-sweet.
Falling Tall.
Both in Line.

In a Sudden-Symphony.
In Beauty's calm embrace
Bitter-sweet.

Damn yeah Tharek! I love that intro.

I see your getting some classical chops in and
they sound fantastic and leading into the song. I love them drums. They sound Swweeet!
Great vibe and your voice is calm. I love it bro!

Holy sh*t - this is staggeringly good. The guitar / violin interplay is sublime, and I love the arabic-infused classical style you're playing on the first part. That alone would be a thing of wonder, but then you bring in some killer vocals and a song that Cat Stevens would be proud of. You remind me a lot of him on this one. Maybe with a pinch of Nick Drake.

I think this is a masterpiece. One of many you've come up with, but certainly my new favourite. You should be a modern folk superstar, and I don't say that lightly.

I must come and see you play live soon!

This is ridiculously accomplished Tharek. The intro was melting. The interplay between instruments was fantastic. I really dig it bro! Fantastic lyrics.

Delicious guitar bro!! Your chops are tight, just soaking it in. Love how the mood changes when the vox start.

It's a stunner!!

This is fabulous OsCkilo! The middle eastern style of music at the intro with the strings and the guitar are mind blowing. The great thing about wearing all the hats is that you can do it the way see fit.....I like the creativeness of the long intro but I'm sure it would have been cut by a record company producer. Love you words, vocal, and guitar playing. A real work of art here!
