Under2Fest (banner image missing)

not the beatles song of the same name but a little ditty on the ukelele under 2 minutes long for the fest.

a shaft of sunlight
btwixt the clouds
a moment respite
for the weary

the gentle whisper
of wind through leaves
the birds are singing songs
of anticipation

here comes the sun
here comes the sun

the days get longer
the skies turn clear
the blooms of spring
are on parade

our sleeves get shorter
we don our shades
and out we venture
once more

here comes the sun
here comes the sun
here comes the sun

i tried it live in the living room, gawd it was hard to do, so i had to tweak the words a tad, very obvious the bits i struggled with, the ending has a slight variation from the original post. this is about take 15 takes hats off to all you guys that can sing and play at the same time.

recorded to two tracks using the fornylon mic setting with the tap delay and noise suppresion turned on.

These are AWSOME!!!  Listened to both on "Latest Songs" before I realized
one was live ... thought I liked the Live one better but now I'm listening to
the first and can't make up my mind.

I think it's time you pack up the Uke and go on tour!!!   ;D

This sound just works so well for you ... EXCELLENT!!!
