Thank you for listening.
These guys are still around but we all are getting old.
Hard to get enthused about dragging 300 pounds of stage gear around in the middle of the night.

Much more fun to be had here.

Thank you, guys.

Yes, Tommy is an amazingly good vocalist. Many years ago I was invited to play guitar with a gospel group.
Six of us toured the east coast of the USA for a year. They had a Greyhound bus and a Caddy limo of their own.
And some real nice stage outfits to wear. A well-equipped band.

That was my first exposure to Tommy's vocals. These guys were doing four and five-part harmonies.
I didn't sing a single note while with them. They were so good I didn't think they needed my scratchy voice
screwing up their music. I just added the best guitar licks I could play into the mix.

The death of the band leader spelled the end of that band but Tommy and I lived in the same city and we
stayed in touch and eventually ended up in the same band, playing blues, top 40 and rock. We were quite successful at it and that band performed for fifteen years.

When that band finally dissolved, I and my friend Joseph Rodino, also a marvelous vocalist, formed Melodic Touch.
Joseph was the front man and did everything from big band style vocals, funk, blues, rock, you name it, he could sing it and do it well. As the years passed, several musicians worked with us, all of them friends and superb musicians. Every gig we played got us several more.

We ate well. Besides the club gigs and parties, we played over 200 wedding receptions. Loved all that free Lobster Newburg! Our bass man got into the habit of bringing his own bowl for it. Needless to say, it was nearly as large as the dish the lobster was served in. That guy could EAT!

If only I had a time machine. Those were awesome years of music for me. Especially the lobster.
We came close to putting those suckers on the endangered species list.
