Well, I don't think it can be done easier than I did on this one. Used the "default" effect (tight EQ) on the BR80, built in mic. put the BR80 on a pile of books and just did it live :) Used the acoustic mastering preset. The strings on my Jasmine are some 2-year old Elixir strings ::)

The quality is utterly amazing Geir. I don't know about anyone else, but I feel like going outside and skipping next to a flower patch.

I'm a very big Joni fan, but I've never really connected with this particular song. The way she does the original has always felt a bit twee and obvious to me. That said, I appreciate that it's genius song-writing, so it's just a personal thing. But this... well, where do I start? You simply couldn't have done it any better. It feels so real, natural, and convincing. Your vocal as always carries a depth and emotion that does funny things to this particular listener. It's an emotional song, but even more so in the way you deliver it. Joni was too pure... this has an edge of gruffness that makes it even better than the original. And your guitar work is sublime. I'm in total awe. Total bloody awe. Wow.

oh my god! I love this song (you know) - your version is stunning, like this were simply 'your' song. can someone do a better rendition than this? I agree with tim when says 'even better' than original - futhermore I remember I heard joni say that these early songs were kinda 'too naive' singed to herself...

Your beautiful guitar sound and very sensitive vocal treatment have touched me in a way I find difficult to express.  It sounds so honest and clean.  You've got me sitting and staring at nothing.
