Me and LArry were in my Garage jamming trying for a floyd sound. Nerver wrote anything down just went with the flow.

Over the weekend He made this with a thunderstorm backing track with the jam playing foward and reverse at the same time.

Why don't we do it on the road?

Definitely more Doors than Floyd. The dreamy reverse sound has the psychedelic sitar feel of 'The End' - which for me is a very, very good thing. This is really spaced out, stoned stuff - like staring into the flames of a campfire. Great stuff - right up my street! And I sent you a friend request on Soundclick  :)

Here's a Bump!
Someone was recently wanting to know how to get that
'cool' resersed sound like 'the beatles' used....
well, I used a program called 'Audacity' to do that very thing here!
I used a part of a jam that Holdempok and myself did in his
garage one saturday afternoon. Then by using Audacity I added
a reversed copy of itself along with a thunderstorm background.

Nice bump! I always liked this one. And as you say, Audacity is a great tool for this kind of thing. Are you Double X boys working on anything new? Hope all is well!

This sounds great - cool bump. I like the vocals and the reverse sounds.

BTW, where did you get the thunderstorm background from.

I was watching a you tube Vid on Syd Barrett the other day....

It said he could lay a track down which didn't make sense played forward, flip the tape over and blow everyone away..!!!!

It takes some serious musical talent to make a song Tunefull and (most importantly) cool going backwards...  Takes greater skill to add to it like you have....!

This is very well done!

Like the glow in the dark trousers on the soundclick Avatar as well!

I actually searched the internet for thunderstorm sounds...
using google I found a website offering free downloads.
I think it would be very difficult to obtain a 'clean' recording
of the rain, unless maybe you were out camping in the country....
Thanks for the comments guys!
And Greeny, yes we are all well, thank you, and we did our 2nd gig
which went well, and are presently taking a little time off and enjoying the summer. Our next goal is to produce a demo CD worthy of promotion.
