It's a pyramid, unbridled ID
It's a greed we can't control
It's an overwhelming urge for power
Get a little bit and it takes hold

             It burns like fire
             Often confused with desire
             More disease than desire
             It's like a drug that tears you down
             While it lifts you higher
             It moves your soul & takes it's place
             You can see it in your eyes as you join the race
             It's a monkey on your back
             Connecting dots out of tracks
             That lead to the end of the road
