Been working out w my National lately thanks to the Rev. 

This song is in Open D tuning.  If you have interest, I've recorded a couple of quick lessons on playing slide in open D and on some of the specific techniques used on this song. 

Experimented w doubling tracks and using delay to get a phatter sound.  Sorry for the bit of distortion.... hard to record the National w/o some of that creeping in.  Hope this tickles your ears and gets your toes tapping!  DD

Great stuff Geo , that is one amazing sound you get from that National , & man you should sing more  often , so where do i find this lesson , cuz I've never been any good with slide , come to think of it I've never been any good with the Blues , so bring it on man
