I can't be bothered to go hunting around right now, but, Marc Ribot anybody? (Gritter excluded)

Hoist That Rag being something of a stunner...have a look on that there YouTube thing...

Mr Ribot plays six strings for Mr Waits.

Really?

I was more influenced by his unusual chord voicings, especially with open strings.  His soloing was hit or miss for me.

Great choices with Steely Dan.  So many great guitarists have traipsed through there.

64, the Leslie West "note" killed!  Reminds me of early Santana.  I believe in live "Samba Pa Ti," he would hold a note for 30 seconds or so.  I'll have to go looking.

Nice one, Sandy. That's surely an anti-solo!

I love the brief solo in Dr. Hook's "The Cover of the Rolling Stone" at 1:40.  "Oh, that's beautiful!"  :D
