Well, what a great track.  A real good groove, and just beautiful strat lines there, classic tone and phrasing.

Nice tone indeed! Great phrasing and feel. Are you playing real drums on this? Great groove to this.

This is superb. That's a real stonking bassline (as we say in these parts) - i.e. brilliant. Beautifully performed and mixed, and as you say, perfectly dreamy. I wish I colud play guitar like that, lol. I like your phrasing a lot - it has a Dave Gilmour 'less is more' feel and tone.

Wow - thanks for the comments - I really appreciate it.

Question on the drums - so my preferred method (other than live drums, which is best of course) is drum loops. Drum machines are okay - and flexible, but always (to my ears) sound sterile. A real drummer loop is next best to the real thing. So these loops were shipped with the BR1600 - and titled BOSS Collection Limited Edition by Discrete Drums. Some 200 wave files in various styles on 1 CD. A nice find in the box. This does however means you have to record from the drums up, as you cant edit them. You can change the time, however tends to sound quite odd - so I then to use the time given. On the 1600, you can program in each loop, one after the other, to get the fills in the right place - its actually really simple to do - although a bit of a pain. I have used loops from GarageBand on the Mac as well, they import real easy, and from the Korg microstation. Have thought about buying more of the Discrete drum loops - as they are really good - but they are also very expensive when not free in the box.

I think this is the company http://www.sonomawireworks.com/store/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=12
