Really enjoyed listening to this, Hook.  Great arrangement with the acoustic instruments.  The electric adds an extra dimension.

Nirvanafest, anyone?

Nice job Hook...as usual!

This was not an easy tune by any stretch. Your vox are so powerful..they anchored this tune.

Loved the instrumentation (hillbilly that i am)..banjo is challenging to record...the mando break was cool too.

i have three Rogue instruments and find them all amazingly solid and playable..especially for the price!

This is a great rendition of Kurt's version. Bravo!

Hook - This is fuc*ing immense!!

I love it, probably better than the original.

I imagined a Cello playing some bass notes in the background, do you know anyone with a Cello??

Super cover!! ;D

Thanks for the comments guys, I'm floored at how many times this has been viewed. You put up a Nirvana tune and everyone pays attention. I think I will rehash and ruin, only Nirvana tunes from now on! Next up "Rape Me" on a concert harp and accordion & distorted clarinet.
I listened in my car this morning and found it to be entirely too loud, maybe just the banjo but I had to turn it down.? Way too much reverb on the banjo( I did slather it a bit), I'm pretty happy with the performance but not the mix at all so I'm going remix later this eve and perhaps modify this post later. Cello would be good, Greeny plays a mean one with his thumb! Greeny...?

Put the new mix at the top of page. I think this is better, most of you guys have nicer monitors than I do so let me know!
Thanks again for listening!

loved it, the mix is nice and wide (new mix i guess). The Vocals are nice and clean. sounds like you had a good time doing this one too. Thats why I love Nirvana, it's simple yet effective at drawing you in, and I really enjoyed the spin you put in this one.

as previously mentioned a bass of any kind would really bust out the depth of the mix.

 Thanks for sharing.

Being a huge Nirvana fan I had to check this out.

This a wonderful, such a unique and cool arrangement...it is superbly constructed and the way you have blended each instrument together is genius.

The vocal is stunning and the playing of each instrument is faultless.

Just first class, and worth many more listens.
