That was my reaction, too, pretty much.

Don't think I know the original, although it's familiar.  If you've been watching the 1977 Top of the Popses on BBC4, this could've come straight from there.  Which sounds like a back-handed criticism now I read it back, but was meant as a compliment

Superb!! Mbee is a great singer alright...i can see why 64 favs her...the lead vox are pro as are the GREAT backup vox. The playing is also ace. Listened yesterday and the bass sounded too loud but today it sounds fine...perhaps either you changed it or the lines you play are so good they deserve the volume. I also really liked the spanish flavored leads on the acoustic...pure class.

I don`t know this song but the music is very similar to Rod Stewart`s Maggie to me.
