This song pretty much speaks for itself.

Here's the lyrics for your analysis...

-----------

She's a pretty girl / and she makes me go pretty crazy
what I wouldn't do for a whirl / but she's too many strata above me
She's like Lady Di

But if you call her Fifi

she'll explode.

You're a pretty girl and you make me go pretty crazy
what I wouldn't do for a twirl but you're in an untouchable sphere for me

You're like Lady Di

But if you call me Fifi I'll explode.

So just before you up and go
I really gotta let you know
to me your indiscetion shows

if someone calls you Fifi you'll explode.

As long as no one calls you Fifi
you won't explode.

As long as no one
calls you Fifi

no one will know.

(take it jimmy)

Now you can come for a ride in my limo
baby but what I really gotta know
is if someone calls you Fifi...

will you

Punky!!  There are a lot of timing issues in there, and I am not sure what is going on with the drums. I would re-do to maybe Rock1 rhythm, that works pretty well for this sort of stuff, then get some bass and / or a second rhythm guitar going to fill it out. I will do the bass if nobody else stands up for it ... busy at the moment! Good song, just needs a tweak. This is, of course, just my humble opinion  :-\

FuzzFace

Thanks man!  I definitely could use a bassist.

I know that this song  is completely undrummable in it's current state, due to, erm... "freestlye" timing structure... but I decided to drum through it and post in anyway in the spirit of musical accessibility.

Greeny

This is great! Needs some drums and kick-ass bass, but this is a killer little punk song. Really enjoyed it!!!!  ;D

FuzzFace

Glad you weren't offended!
I was trying to sound British.  Ha ha.

Greeny

That was a more than passable British punk accent! A bit like Jimmy Pursey from Sham 69  :D

Glad to know!  Thanks.

But you WOULD tell me if I was disgracing either myself or the motherland, right?

Greeny

There's nothing wrong with wearing your influences on your sleeve. I've listened to The Doors so much that I can't help slipping into American phrasings here and there. You got the attitude just right too  :)

Alright now I just gotta get my wife a pair of Union Jack knickers and I'll be living the life.

(All due respect to my wife...)
