Guitar weekends

Has anyone done any of these? Have been toying with the idea of attending one - however, has anyone had either a good or bad experience of these - and if you have been on one, did you get a lot from it?

Guitars weekends - residential guitar playing courses?

Here's an example http://www.guitarweekends.co.uk/ - I would quite like to go on one, but am a little nervous that it won't be quite what I'm after. Interested if any one has been on one, and if so what they thought.
