Hi thanks for the listen and comment. Yeah - I got my 12 string tuned down to about a C or C# so its easier to play. I do 2 tracks of 12 string on this. (I did a cut n paste for the backing around the lead)

What I really wish I had is one of these Taylor baritones which I have played at the store.

The Zeppelin version is much better - features mandolin and Sandy Denny - I'm sure its up on youtube - well worth the effort to listen to it. Its from the same album that Stairway to Heaven is on.

I haven't owned a 12-string in many years and its nice to hear one well played.

You possess a good voice. Don't worry about singing a song exactly like the original.
Use your natural voice. Don't strain it trying to sound like someone else.
The vocal track can always be enhanced in the editing stage of the mix.
