Hi,
New to this forum. A bit of a gear junkie - have been recording for a while on my trusty Boss. Got many songs to post. don't sing myself, but enjoy speed writing, so I set myself an afternoon or evening - and see what comes, warts an all. Stops the music getting too stale, so an interesting approach. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

Here's one I prepared earlier :-)

@Hook - thanks for your comments. Newbie to this site - although been playing/recording for more years than I care to admit. Plenty of tracks to listen to, and lots of discussions on my favourite subject - music. Looking forward to making lots of new friends!

welcome bruno. what instruments do you play?

Hi phantasm777
Main instrument is electric guitar, although I played the (classical) violin from an early age. Although I don't play the fiddle much these days. I also play the bass badly and some piano/keys to a limited extent.

Which one? You might want to add an icon of your Boss recorder to your signature as many other members have done. Here's how:

Hi, Bruno, have just listened to your Pink Floydish offering, sh*t, that's good!!
You're a star already. I wouldn't be too concerned about having a go at singing,
a lot of people do, and it works wonders for the confidence. Welcome.

Thanks for the comment Steve - I think I might want to sing, however I don't know if I can play and sing at the same time - and Jeez, trying to remember lyric - forget it. Nah, I'll leave the singing to my daughter, its far easier :-)

With a multitrack recorder like the BR-1600, you don't have to. Just record your guitar tracks first, then record your vocal to a separate track. Go on... give it a try!  :)

Damit - that was a good excuse to duck the question - the real reason is that Mrs B and Mazz would have a fit of the giggles, and I'd end up in a coughing fit - now that wouldn't be very rock n roll :-)

I did the "uh-haa" is said named track - that's a step in the right direction (actually made me laugh, but needed to be done!)

Actually the BR1600 does have a Vox toolbox, with built in auto tune and harmonies by Cyderdyne - which is kinda interesting in a kinda doesn't really work kind of way after spending hours programming in the chords!
