Fascinating. I was wondering how a band I never heard of could afford all those instruments and rigging. Then I went to the YouTube page and read that they did it in partnership with Chevrolet and Gretsch.

It would be interesting for someone to try this on a smaller scale. I'm thinking of an HO slotcar set or train set with little bells and things placed alongside the track, and maybe some switches that trigger drum samples. I guess you'd need a good, sensitive mic hanging above the track, or a whole bunch of small mics placed next to each bell, etc.

Or maybe a Rube Goldberg machine / Heath Robinson contraption that plays music or rhythms.
