U2 Fest (banner image missing)

A little late but my 3rd U2fest submission and if you will have it my offering to the "Achtung Baby" tribute.
This has consumed me for the last week and I've had very limited time to get it done. I listened to a bunch of different versions, album, a few different live versions, jack Whites, some random youtubers and then I just went for it. Took about 3 days of here and there recording and it's a total of 22 tracks, I'll try to lay it all out for ya...
1 cheap casio organ, 1 Bass,3 Guitar tracks- finger picked, solo, atmosphere, 1 vocal, 1 mandolin, 1 br drum pattern (starts at solo), and many eletronic drum kit tracks (Yamaha DTRexpress3). i set out for a world beat kind of thing and this is what it became. The synth/sax is a voice on the kit, samples triggered by the pad and it happened to be in key. I did one mix then mixed again and added more Japanese Bass Drum and vocals, then mastered with the rockband setting. This is an excellent example of why I want to upgrade to a 16 track or 24 track machine! Hope you like it, thanks for listening.

WOW Hook !! This is really excellent !!

Love the whole arrangement. Fantastic creativity ! And your voice really carries this so well you'd only need the mando to make this shine. And with all the guitars and drums and keys, we have a brilliant gem that just made it to the top of my Actung baby favourite list !!!

And that lead guitar is just perfect !!!

Well done Hook! Well done indeed !

Fantastic and unique take on this song, and the effort that you put into this shines through.

On the second listen now, and I just keep noticing and picking different parts out.

I loved the Jack White version of this, and this is on a par with it.
