Great guitar playing.  I like those big perfect bends (is that bent with finger or whammy bar?).

Alternate Tunings: CAUTION: your fingers have to be in different places

I believe everyone has their own uniqe way of learning, for me, i usually just 'dive' into it, i think its one of the best ways to learn (for me anyway), even if you come across a wrong note, try making it sound right. Oh yea, for me, this 1 is very important, Always find new ways of performing a 'lick', what i mean by this is since my 'picking' technique is Really Crap! ( i mean really! ), and i struggled to play this 'lick', i would try find another way of playing it,
and before you know it, you've learn something different!

Thanks for the comment on Atomic Groove. I have to say, even though this is a short piece of music I can tell we have a bit in common ! I'm a huge Criss Oliva fan. He was the original lead guitarist of Savatage but had his life cut short by a drunk driver. Your sound and playing style remind me alot of myself ! I use to be into heavy metal and still play some today but I'm starting to calm things down now and concentrate on making music that everyone can enjoy. Hearing this gives me withdrawal shakes though ! LOL ! I still play some of Savatage's songs from when Criss was with them. You should check them out. Give the cd ( The Hall of the Mountain King ) a listening to. I think you'll like Criss's guitar work from that album. I progressed tremendously from studying his work and I think you will find some of it to your liking also ? Get back to me when you can ? Ranger

Glad to see someone hear who enjoys Savatage!
