Bluesberry

I have been so busy with work lately I haven't much time to check in...........Thanks for the BUMP T-man, and all the lovely comments everyone.  I was in experiment mode with this one and am glad it worked out.  As for the vocals, thank you, thank you and thank you......that made my day.  The thing different I am doing is recording with a Rode NT1A lately, through a ART Tube MP Microphone Preamp, cheap and gets the job done.  It seems to warm up whatever is recorded through it nicely for such an inexpensive pre-amp.  That goes into the BR-80 with no effects other than reverb.  I think the other factor is I am much more relaxed about singing lately.  It used to be such a big deal to sing for me, very stressful.  Lately I just turn on the machine and let er rip, much more relaxed about the whole thing.  Thanks guys.

Bluesberrygrass, I like that.  Right from the start with the banjo I didn't want to just copy somebody else, I need to find a way to play that makes sense to me, it feels like I am closing in on that style.  A cross between clawhammer and up picking and fingerpcking, all put through the Bluesberry filter.  Just what feels natural to me mostly.

On my dark, rainy drive into work this morning, this song shuffled onto my iPod and proper cheered me up.
