Heeehaawww! I'd never been a fan of country music.....at all- Then I lost my woman......lost my mind......lived to tell about it.......and oh, my doggie died :'(

This is an attempt to cover my first country song. It's a classic  origianally performed Garth Brooks.

Something bugs me about this mix- I think I have to much fx on my voice for one thing, but basically, I was just doing it for fun. If anyone has any tips on how I could get a better sound- I'm all hears.

So why get into Country when the Blues is there waiting? Sheesh ... some people!
Sounds great, though I am no Country fan as my missus would tell you in depth  :D Maybe if you lowered the vox a tad and added some (more?) hall reverb to the guitar it would solve what bugs you?

Kody

I took your advice and reposted it- Thanks man. And don't worry- I aint going country. ;D It's just the drain bamage I promise.

Now that's a nice mix, sounds like you are live in a concert hall.

How about some Chris Gaines?! :P  :o
Like the guitar sound again. That Alvarez you mentioned before has uber tone.

Regardless of style and whether you like Country or Western, this is just fab. Single instrument, single voice, played and sung superbly. I don't go for this normally, but this moved me.

Well done. Played and sung from the heart. Magical.

You give new meaning to the word country.  You are way better than Garth Brooks!!!  I love your acoustic playing.   Can't wait to get my Br and join in the fun.  Next week I hope.

Keep up the excellent work.
