A Country/Americana crossover song. Lead/backing vocals, acoustic guitar, lap steel, electric guitar, harmonica, and real drums.

A memory and regret about a lost love.

A mighty fine piece of songwriting. This is going to polish up into a real beauty! Don't over-do it though - there's a charm to the simplicity of how it sounds at the moment. I know you know what you're doing though, lol. Looking forward to hearing the competition version.

Thanks Geir, Krasi, Gnasty, Rata, and Greeny for the encouragement!

Greeny - I've had a friend give me the same advice about not smothering the acoustic or the song for that matter in a layer of tracks piled on. So I'm going to try my best to not get caught up in the urge to do that.

I should have the song ready next week if all goes well. I'll repost it then.

Thanks all!

Sounds cool to me, that Taylor sounds excellent and the vox too, don,t know why but this would sound great in one of Clint Eastwood movies, I,ll catch it again when your finished ,great tune.
