I recorded the rain song on three tracks with three different guitars. My Fender Strat (American made),  a twelve string Gould, (not Guild), and my 6 string fender acoustic/electric.
Hope you all like it!
I look forward to constructive criticism.

I SCREWED UP AND POSTED THIS IN THE ORIGINALS SECTION!  MY BAD!
THIS IS A COVER SONG!!

Feel free to put some vox on this........only thing is - I did not play it note for note.    I am planning on a colab with rat a ta tat so I can redo it with correct time.  I would love someone out there to lay the vox down!

Thanks for all the kudos!  Led Zeppelin is one of my favorite bands.  Hopefully I do them a bit of justice.

Sounds great. Although, it's crying out for vocals. I bet thetworegs would love to do the vocals if you're interested. He does a great Robert Plant imitation.

I didn't hear any part of "Over the Hills and Far Away". The recording ends unexpectedly at 3:00. Did something happen to cut it short?

Oh well ........

Those chords for 'rain' have always blown me away - little shivers of pleasure (yes, I'm a bit odd like that, lol). This is so beautifully played, and done with a lot of love and skill. Absolutely magnificent.

I agree with 64guitars... some vocals would take this to the next level.

thetworegs

superb.....and i think a wow is involved too....although it ended at 3mins you nailed it......excellent

very cool, and nicely played! Agree with all the prior comments - you need Reg to finish it off nicely!

Wow... another Alaskan... that's 3 now on this site.... You guys may recognize this guy from "Life By the Drop"... "Lie Detector"... "Uncle Russels T-Bucket and a few others. This guy is a hell of a guitar player and has been one of my bestest bud's since I got up here in AK. AKA "Rich"... He frequents the man cave so we can try and figure this recording thing out together... and it usually turns into a jam of some sort... which I love to do!!! I'll talk him into finishing it out so's we can hopefully get Reg's to put sum Vox on that bad boy.

That would surely make him come back more often!!! HINT HINT...

Great... Job... BC... Glad you finally are onboard!!! You are a truely great musician and friend... Hope to hear more of you on SC....Lets Jam!!!
