By the way, what is the tuning for a Uke?

Standard tuning is gCEA (the g is tuned over the C), but aDF#B is also common.

I used to think that the g over the C was pointless -- since so many chords end up just repeating the same note in the same octave. But now I get it. It opens up some voicings that you couldn't get with a guitar.
