My strat-copy guitar is no hum-dinger so my tuning never lasted very long. The G-string had almost always been impossible to tune no matter what.  I did a few upgrades on my own and it made a dramatic, noticeable impact(for the better)...Tusq nut, new trem springs, StringSaver saddles, and Roller String Retainers.  For anyone, if you've got a beginner/intermediate strat copy, I highly suggest these 4 things.

Very nice indeed.  The lead sounded great to me, lots of really nice licks, great vocal, good solid bass to drive the beat, a bit of colour from the piano and rhythm guitar but not too busy, nice professional fadeout.  Very well done for a weekend project!
