G'day everyone'

I had a day off today and made a tune . Its very hot here,42 deg C / 108 deg F ,so its a summery tune and it didnt take long for the valves in the amp to get hot.

I hope you enjoy it and please feel free to leave any advice on how to improve my recording.  Thanks  :)

Great stuff, can feel the heat soaking through into the vibe. Ace guitar tones...

Just maybe watch your input signal, as there is a slight bit of digital distortion, which unlike analogue distortion, is a wee bit unpleasant to the ear. And maybe crank up the drums...

It's brass monkey freeze-your-nuts-off cold here, but this has a great sunny, latin vibe going on. Along with a touch of Santana (to my ears at least). It deserves some vocals too! Agree with henwrench's comment that there's some distortion on there, but it's a great performance and composition.

Hook

Great playing, great groove, just watch out for the clipping like the others have said. well done!
Rock on!

Definite Santana feel here. I agree with the distortion but other than that this is great.

Thanks everyone for taking the time to give my song a listen and thanks for the good replys. :)

I noticed that the rythum guitar track was a bit distorted after I had finished but it would be tricky to redo that guitar track to match bass guitar parts etc.I recorded it on my BR800 with the guitar amp miced up and I use Sonar LE to mix it.Is there any way to tidy up the distorted rythum guitar track using Sonar LE by any chance ?

Thanks

Unfortunately not. Once that pesky digital distortion is recorded, it'll be there forever. Just keep your recording levels very low, say about 50%, and your input on about 50 too. Aim to have your little LED level indicators on about half way. It's very easy to boost 'em up nice and loud when your doing your final mix...
