Quote from: henwrench on January 30, 2012, 03:13:07 AMWhen I'm buggering about on my uke, I tend to use my fingers to strum and pluck away, but when I'm recording it's a plectrum all the way, either a very thin plastic one or a very thick felt one.

Nice tip...I was wondering how you get such a crisp attack! I need to try this, as I always strum with either my thumb or fingers.

Quote from: Redler on February 02, 2012, 10:32:26 AMI recieved it today. Had to change the strings to left handed position. I was amazed how small it is!
I felt that it may be an "easy" instrument; each chord I played sounded good! I'm sure it will give much joy to me!

Congratulations, Kari! Ukes are great - all the chord relationships are the same as guitar, just pitched up to a fourth. And so portable. :)
