Here is the 1st batch from the most recent session .

Carl Chamberlain: Open Mic Promoter.
                        Awesome poet!

I first met Carl in a pub in Leicester square (the Impirial - Soho) where he was running an open mic called "Sing for your supper". The promise of food and playing a song had me caught from the start, and the event had an atmosphere you could only find in a Soho Pub.



A clandestine collection of musicians thrown together to perform for mainly tourists. A great bonus as Tourists seem to appreciate live music as part of their holiday experience.


Carl was a great Host and Intriguing individual, who seemed larger than life in personality.

I didn't anticipate how accomplished a poet he was at the time.

Here are a couple of his poems recited in St Mary's Church, Stoke Newington.
