After the Sangretts and still full of rage I wrote this. As soon as I can get to my laptop I'll put up lyrics for these...

I'm in the wrong again
and I don't know, I don't know
Your face is long again
And I don't know, I don't know...

'cos it's so hard to pin you down
You're always dancing around
You're like a matador, a picador, to stretch the metaphor
And I'm just the rodeo clown

And nothing is quite what it seems
And I can't see the wood for the trees

Can't sleep with the light on
And I don't know, I don't know...
Where have all the good times gone?
I don't know, I don't know...

But I don't let it get me down
I ain't losing sleep Babe 'cos you're not around
You made me the talk of the town
And everybody's treating me like some kind of clown

But nothing is quite what it seems
And I can't see the wood for the trees

But there's a life outside of London
There's a world outside your head
And it's a world of difference in between
The things you did and what you said
There's a world outside your window
And it's a world of peace and joy

You just throw down that knife and get yourself a life
You might see what you're made of, Boy...

Where nothing is quite what it seems

And it's so hard to pin you down
You're all over fucking town
You're just a social Dracula in the vernacular
And I'm tired of hanging upside down

Where nothing is quite what it seems
And I can't see the wood for the trees

Jimbo! Fabulous stuff. Reminds me a lot of the music from Tempe, AZ in the early 90's -- when Tempe bands were trying to very hard to live up to the hype of being "The Next Seattle."

Ever hear of Dead Hot Workshop? No? That's because Tempe did not turn out to be "The Next Seattle."

But they were a really good band, and this song of yours sounds like a close relative.

Can't wait to hear more.

Greeny

Full of frantic energy, but with plenty of tasty (and melodic) chord changes. Great performance and delivery. Hard to fault! Like it a lot.

killer track! remember me of grunge because of its (not so) hidden melodic heart within so loud rock. good good one!

Rage is good! Love the guitar work here, like the punky solo at 2:25. Excellent vox with a great hooky chorus as well. Nice work on this one Jimbo.

Cheers,
