I just got a micro br for christmass, i absolutly love it but i cant figure out how to download the files to my computer. do you have to buy an adapter of some form?   another question i have is what is the best mic to buy for the micro br?

You'll need a USB cable to connect to your computer.  See page 96 of the manual. 

Or if your computer has a card reader port, you can just read directly from the MBR's memory card.

And as for the mike, you will find that the onboard mike works very well.
