I've said it before and I'll say it again, I LOVE it when you bust out the wire and wood. The guitar swirls and drones so magnificently, that I was sure there was a wee bit of synth in there somewhere, but no, only ORH up to his Jedi mind tricks. Top notch...

no juno on this just me and my guitar, tho i played it twice. done on the micro br i used 4 tracks as i used stereo effects 22 st steel i think its called and 72 which is pan and delay. then hiked up the reverb. receorded each guitar to two tracks panned full left and right for full stereo spectrum. then things happen that i didnt actually play because of the interaction of the two seperate recordings, ghost in the machine sort of thing, voice was also recorded to two tracks using the pan and delay but more centre panned 20 left and 20 right so it was still panning but not the full stereo spectrum.

That explains the full sound, I only listened on the computer speakers so I'll give it a go through some headphones later. Thanks for the details.

Wow Jim, I missed this, and it's one of my absolute faves of yours. Just love that guitar work, lovely chords and clever use of the stereo image. It sounds lush and full, a superb platform for the vox. Which as always are very well sung and just fit the music so well.

Braw tell yer maw indeed!

Cheers,
