What amp/ speaker do you use with your micro br?

I use my Marshall MG15 practice amp via its built in CD input (its fine, but there is no clear separation of sound since its has a single speaker, great sound with my guitar {of course} though)

I also use my LG DVD Speaker Unit's auxillary channel via an RCA adapter i (it works, sounds good, is it safe to use this?)

I also use a large Edifier Speaker (it works also, sound awesome, I also dont know if its safe to use this?)

Marshall 15 for jamming, PC monitors if I want to hear the separation.

I just use my computer speakers and they are close by but for volume and practice I bought a 1/8 to 1/4 cord for my Fender delux reberb.

I use MBR with headphones only. To jamm or practice I use my handmade 5W tube amp if I can (too loud for my wife ;D).

Greeny

Nothing. Headphones only - and probably too loud  :D

Mostly use my sony headphones (MDR7506) for 2 reasons: so my wife doesnt kill me and so i get the clearest and most trustworthy sound to monitor my recordings (that i can afford that is!)

But when i dont want to be leashed to the recorder, i use my computer speakers and they sound great. I plug directly into them (bypassing the computer) with 1/8" cable. They are Klipsch 2.1 speakers and are great for rocking out on or trying new sounds. Problem is that they color the sound intensely when compared to my sony headphones. The bass reproduction is too much, too boomy and not accurate. One day i'll pony up for some decent recording monitors like KRKs or Mackies but they are pricey.

I think it's recommended you try our songs on several types of speakers and at lower levels to get a realistic idea of how it will sound to others.
If you keep the volume down you can last longer. Ear fatigue is a fact.
You start losing certain frequencies which skews your mix.

I use headphones only --> Creative full enclosure with 40mm Neodymium drivers. These sound pretty good and were fairly cheap.

Wife out:

Either 15w practice amp or (mostly) 5.1 surround sound from my PC as it gives a great quality.

Wife in:

Cordless headphones as they reduce the number of cables to trip over.

If i'm learning songs etc then I'll use my Tascam GA30CD which has a trainer on board with built in CD unit, otherwise if i'm headbanging along to heavy stuff I use my cordless headphones which are brilliant. That way the wife cant hear.

Keep on strumming
