i agree with redler this sounds really current, but also reminds me of the adverts at times but then that lead guitar reminds me of can, gonna give this one a few more spins, love it.

That's really excellent.  Bang on for late 70's. Put me in mind of a band called UK Decay, particularly for the confident vocal delivery.  Also early Gang of Four.  One for the iPod, I reckon...

Aha, this is from my youth, I would have said 1979/1980 ish. Defeinitely a bit post punk, touch of Magazine in there for me. I love the bass parts in the little break downs and the overall feel is fabulous, I love the energy and aggression. Excellent stuff, really enjoyed this!!

There's my roots (Adverts) & Pete's (Can) coming out again. I must listen to some Adverts again. One Chord Wonders, New Church, Gary Gilmore's Eyes etc. Thanks for the comparison ;D
