#3 for protestfest & I'm quite proud of this one!, I wrote this last night on a holiday card that was black with nickel size white spots and in each spot I wrote a phrase, perhaps I'll scan the card and post it. I set out to write a song for this fest with the mandolin, and I did. Recorded it this afternoon in 2 sittings. 5 total tracks, mandolin (mic'd), guitar solo, and 3 vocal tracks.

This is superb Hook...i was off to bed and thought well i'll just give this a click ...and wow...you should be proud of it ....its a beaut....it didn't end painfully at all....good night....

You are right to be proud of this one Hook man, this is really fantastic. Sweet goodness man. Makes me think of REM a little, but it really is all Hook. I really like your style.

Excellent Hook.....I love all the vocals and the layered build up! The mando and guitar both sound real fine. A minimal amount of tracks used to create a big impact...nice!
